Verizon LG Dare wont hold charge.?

So, yeah first mistake is that I bought it through bookoo.com, but its a really nice phone. it charges and everything, but it wont hold a charge for more than like 30 minutes. and when it does it charge, it says charge completed. so should i just get a new battery?
